Court Assessments |
| We have experienced family therapists who undertake
family / individual assessments and prepare reports for court / legal purposes. Our experience lies in the fields of • Access disputes • Child protection, especially emotional abuse • Post traumatic stress disorder following assault/accident Prior to assessment we would need to agree legal fees and with agreement of the client/s, be provided with all information relating to the case. An assessment would consist of the following parts. 1. An initial meeting lasting an hour and a half, with the family / individual concerned. Further sessions may be necessary depending on the complexity and numbers of people involved. This will be discussed in the initial meeting. 2. Telephone contact with the legal services and other agencies involved. 3. Preparation and typing of reports. 4. Appearance at court would be negotiated with the clients and legal representatives.
